Itinerary
Day 1: Berlin
Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabin, enjoy a welcome cocktail with the crew before dinner.
Day 2: Berlin
Join us for a tour of the city of Berlin which was long divided, illustrating the division of the world into two blocks. We'll return to the ship for lunch. Enjoy a free afternoon in Berlin. Dinner will be served on board. We'll head out for a tour of Berlin by night.
Day 3: Berlin - Potsdam - Brandenburg
We'll leave for the excursion to Charlottenburg Castle. Our ship will then depart for Potsdam, which we will reach at the beginning of the afternoon. When we arrive, we'll set off on an excursion to Potsdam and the gardens of Sanssouci Palace. We'll return back on board at the end of the afternoon and continue to cruise in the direction of Brandenburg.
Day 4: Brandenburg - Burg - Magdeburg
The ship will begin to cruise early in the morning for Burg. Join us for a tour of Magdeburg, situated midway on the Elbe River and the historic Roman Roads. Its cathedral is one of the most important of Gothic-style edifices in Europe. During this time, the boat will sail to Magdeburg, where we will board it at the end of the afternoon. Enjoy some free time this evening to explore the city on your own.
Day 5: Magdeburg - Calvoerde - Wolfsburg - Anderten
We'll begin to cruise early this morning for Calvörde. Join us for a visit to the Autostadt, a combination automotive theme park and museum with separate buildings for each VW brand. During this time, the boat will sail to Wolfsburg, where we will board it at the end of the afternoon. The ship will leave for Anderten.
Day 6: Anderten - Minden - Nienburg
Our ship will depart early for Hanover, arriving at the beginning of the morning. We'll then set off on an optional excursion to Hanover. The capital of Lower Saxony, Hanover is one of the main economic centers in Germany. During this time, the boat will continue its course for Minden. We'll board it again and continue to cruise to Nienburg. Our ship will cruise through the rest of the day.
Day 7: Nienburg - Hoja - Bremen
Transfer for a tour of the "Red Town” which has a magnificent town hall from the Weser Renaissance (tour on your own.) During this time, the ship will continue its course for Hoya, where we will board it once again. We'll spend the afternoon cruising to Bremen.
Day 8: Bremen - Oldenburg - Doerpen
Join us for a tour of Bremen (walking tour), the oldest maritime city in Germany and the second largest trading port in Germany after Hamburg. We'll then return on board and depart for Oldenburg. Enjoy a stroll in the city before we board our ship again and begin to cruise towards Dörpen which we will reach during the night.
Day 9: Doerpen - Papenburg - Groningen
We'll begin to cruise early in the morning for Papenburg. Join us for a tour of the Meyer Werft shipyard. We'll return on board and leave for Groningen.
Day 10: Groningen - Amsterdam
We'll begin to cruise early in the morning, spending the day cruising to Amsterdam.
Day 11: Amsterdam
In the morning, join us for a tour of the city of Amsterdam. In the afternoon, we'll leave for an excursion to Volendam and the Zaanse Schans.
Day 12: Amsterdam
Enjoy time on your own in Amsterdam today. Passengers are welcome to board the ship at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy a welcome cocktail with the crew before dinner. Join us on an excursion: Canal boat tour of enchanting Amsterdam at night.
Day 13: Amsterdam
Departure for an excursion for both packages: the Rijksmuseum. In the afternoon, join us on an excursion for both packages: The Hague and its hidden courtyards. Enjoy a free evening.
Day 14: Amsterdam - Nijmegen - Krefeld(3)
Our ship will depart early in the morning for Nijmegen. Join us for a visit to the Kröller Müller museum (2): located in the Hoge Veluwe National park, this museum holds an important collection of canvases by Van Gogh as well as his contemporaries, including Picasso, Seurat, Monet to name a few. In the museum grounds, you will discover an incredible collection of modern sculptures. Afterwards, we'll return on board and cruise to Krefeld, passing Wesel and Duisburg.
Day 15: Krefeld - Koln - Koenigswinter
The morning will be spent cruising to Cologne. This afternoon, enjoy some free time or take a tour of the old sections of Cologne with our hostess. Afterwards, we'll return on board and start cruising to Koenigswinter. The evening is free to do as you please.
Day 16: Koenigswinter - Rudesheim
Our ship will cruise along the romantic Rhine during the morning, passing beautiful castles along the way as well as the famous Lorelei Rock. When we arrive in Rüdesheim, enjoy some time sightseeing on your own or join us for a tour on a tourist train and stop at a wine tasting cellar, followed by a visit to the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments.
Day 17: Rudesheim - Speyer Or Mannheim
This morning, our ship will cruise up the Rhine all the way to Speyer, passing Wiesbaden, Nierstein, Worms and Mannheim. Upon arrival to Mannheim, join us for an excursion to Heidelberg. Tonight is our gala evening. Our ship will start cruising to Strasbourg and sail through the night.
Day 18: Strasbourg
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
