Upon arriving in Napier you will be transported to the award winning Masonic Hotel and the 1930’s. Opened in 1861 the Masonic Hotel has had a difficult past, being razed by fire twice by 1931. The 7.9 Napier Earthquake was the catalyst for the Masonic Hotel’s iconic Art Deco design, like Napier itself, this historic hotel has captured Art Deco Style of the 1930’s perfectly, and after a recent refurbishment is a destination unto itself.

You will meet your tour guide and the rest of your group this evening for a welcome dinner at the Hotel.
