Important Information
Day 1: Dubai
On arrival in Dubai International Airport walk through to the immigration hall (which takes about 5-10 minutes) and through immigration to the arrival hall exit. As the arrival hall opens up look for our representative holding a sign with your name on it. Please note that your driver will usually wait up to 90 minutes from the time your flight has landed.
After you have met the representative you will be transferred to your hotel to unwind from your travels or begin exploring the surrounding area as you see fit.
Day 2: Dubai (B)
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel to join the Half Day City tour of Dubai. This incredible city has risen from the sands in what seems an impossibly short period, however hidden amongst the glittering skyscrapers are areas of vibrant heritage and golden traditions, many of which you will discover today. Beginning in Bastakiya, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Dubai, you will visit the Dubai Museum, weave through the alleyways of the Al Fahidi Historical District, take a traditional “Abra” water taxi, explore the gold and spice souks (markets), and have photo opportunities at the Jumeriah Mosque and Jumeriah Beach, with the iconic Burj Al Arab in the background. Upon the conclusion of your tour you will be returned to your hotel for an afternoon of leisure or self-guided exploration as you see fit.
Note: Due to traffic congestion a large amount of time may be spent transferring to and from the hotel for the tour and the itinerary may vary.
Day 3: Dubai (B)
Following breakfast at the hotel the morning is set aside for shopping or relaxing as you see fit before you are picked up in the afternoon by a luxury 4x4 vehicle for an unforgettable desert adventure. Beginning with an hour-long dune-bashing experience, this desert safari will have plenty of opportunities for photos of the hauntingly beautiful landscape, particularly at sunset when the dunes appear to change colour in front of your eyes.
Following an optional camel ride, sit down to a sumptuous BBQ buffet dinner at an authentic Bedouin camp where you will experience the famed hospitality and culture of these nomadic people. Take the chance to drop by the henna tattoo booth for a temporary reminder of your time in the desert before being returned to your hotel.
Day 4: Dubai (B)
Today you will be picked up transferred to the airport for you onward flight. Our local representative will reconfirm the time of the transfer. Please meet at the concierge desk at the time advised.

Arrival transferIf you have booked an arrival transfer in Dubai: to locate the representative after your disembarkation walk through immigration to the arrival hall exit. As the arrival hall opens up, look for a sign with your name or your hotel name on it. Please note that your driver will usually wait up to 90 minutes from the time your flight has landed. If for any reason you have been delayed at the luggage delivery or during the customs process and if you cannot see the rep, please telephone our local representative on the office numbers (or the afterhours mobile) listed. Our local representatives speak good English and will be happy to assist you. There are free telephones available at the arrival hall for you to do so.
NoteNot all hotels serve alcohol – The majority of properties featured in the brochure DO serve alcohol or are nearby properties or restaurants where drinks are available.RamadanDuring the Holy Month of Ramadan Muslims fast, abstaining from eating, drinking & smoking during daylight hours (approx. 7am-6.30pm). As a sign of respect, tourists should also try to refrain from these activities in public during the fasting hours. In 2020, Ramadan should begin around 23 April . After 30 days, or on sighting the full moon, Eid Al Fitr is celebrated & most public and private institutions close for at least three days. Tourism Dirham taxA fee will be charged on all stays at hotel establishments in Dubai. This fee, called “Tourism Dirham” will be collected at check out by the hotel and will be charged on a per bedroom, per stay basis. The fee varies according to the hotel category as following:
- Five-star or higher-rated hotel or hotel apartment: 20 UAE Dirhams per room per night
- Four-star hotel or hotel apartment:: 15 UAE Dirhams per room per night
