Day 1: Seoul - Jeju
Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport you will be met by a local operator and transferred to Gimpo Domestic Airport for your flight to Jeju Island. There you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to unwind from your travels.
Day 2: Jeju (BL)
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel for a coach tour of the beautiful areas of Western Jeju. Beginning with Gumneung Beach, Hallim Park, and the O’Sulloc Green Tea Fields. Following a buffet lunch, you will be taken to the pier to board a boat for a Sanbang Mountain Cruise, from where you will have stunning views of Jeju. Later in the afternoon you will visit a teddy bear museum before seeing the stunning Cheonjeyeon waterfall - colloquially known as “The Pond of God.” Your day ends back at the hotel with an evening set aside to explore in your own style.
Day 3: Jeju (BL)
Today your coach will take you to explore the Eastern side of Jeju, beginning with a short horseback ride, followed by a visit to the Seongeup Folk Village. After lunch you will pass via Gwangchigi Beach to the “diving women” show a traditional way of life unique to Jeju. Your next stop is the stunning Seongsan Ilchulbong volcanic peak. This 182m high tuff cone contains its own delicate ecosystem and is a true wonder. Your last stop before being returned to your hotel today is Manjang Cave, a fascinating lava flute almost 9km long.
Day 4: Jeju – Seoul (B)
Following a morning at leisure you will be transferred to Jeju airport for your flight to Seoul. Upon arrival you will be met and driven to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 5: Seoul – DMZ – Seoul (B)
A fascinating day awaits today as you are taken on a half day coach tour of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separating North and South Korea since the ceasefire of the Korean war in 1953. Highlights of the tour include the 3rd Tunnel, Dora Observatory, and the DMZ Exhibition Centre. The tour ends outside city hall in Seoul and the rest of the day is at leisure to explore as you see fit.
Day 6: Seoul (BL)
Today is a full day coach tour of some of the most interesting sites of Seoul. Featuring the changing of the guard ceremony, Jogyesa Buddhist Temple, and the Ginseng centre in the morning, followed by Changdeok Palace, and several popular shopping destinations after lunch. Today has something for everyone.
Day 7: Seoul (BL)
This morning you will be picked up and taken to Nami Island, a delightful crescent moon shaped island covered with beautiful landscapes. Following a local lunch, you will be taken to Petite France, a vibrant village full of colourful buildings. At the completion of the day, you will be returned to your hotel.
Day 8: Seoul (B)
A morning at leisure for some last minute exploration of Seoul before you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
