Day 1
A Warm Welcome to Honolulu
Embrace a tropical state of mind on this uplifting encounter with the best Hawaii has to offer. Your first brush with traditional Hawaiian hospitality begins this evening when you join your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a local-style Welcome Reception.
Day 2
Discover the History of Honolulu
Today we will visit Pearl Harbor National Monument and the USS Arizona Memorial as well as drive through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Also today in downtown Honolulu we will see Iolani Palace, the King Kamehameha I Statue and State Capitol Building. The rest of the afternoon is free.
Day 3
Journey to the Big Island
Fly to the Big Island of Hawaii and arrive in the charming town of Hilo. Next, visit the UNESCO listed Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to learn about the geology of the island and the significance volcanoes have played in the creation of the Hawaiian islands as well as the legend of Pele the Goddess of Fire. We continue along the coast to Punalu’u Beach park, famous for its black sand and Hawaiian green sea turtles. This evening as we arrive in Kailua Kona you are free to soak in the surroundings on your own terms.
Day 4
Play Your Way in Kona
Take a moment and savor the calming sounds of the sea as you decide how best to indulge in a free day to explore Kona’s beautiful landscapes. Relax in sun-kissed surrounds or ask your Travel Director for suggestions on how to tackle the great outdoors.
Day 5
Experience the Sights, Flavors and Wildlife of Hawaii Make Travel Matter
Dive into marine life learning about the second largest rays in the world, the mobula alfredi manta rays. On a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience, visit the Hawaii Ocean Science and Technology Park’s Sea Salt farm to learn about the importance of salt in Hawaiian culture and how it’s produced from the deep ocean water, drawn from 2,200 feet below the surface. Watch the salt production process and enjoy a curated tasting to explore the flavor profiles of this Hawaiian Sea Salt. Then, journey to the unique Kona Joe coffee plantation, discovering how some of the world's best coffee is grown and roasted. This evening, lose yourself in the moment as we embrace the tradition of the Hawaiian Luau and enjoy a dinner featuring local flavors and tropical cocktails.
Day 6
Explore the Natural Wonders of Maui
Next stop, the beautiful island of Maui. On arrival here, enjoy a Be My Guest Experience at a local sustainable farm in the high country of Maui. Have a delicious and healthy lunch before we journey to our resort on stunning Kaanapali beach. As the sun sets over the Pacific, take a gentle stroll to nearby Whalers Village or venture into old town Lahaina to dine at one of the many restaurants.
Day 7
Entice Your Senses in Maui
Warm your heart and soul in paradise, spending the day at leisure exploring Maui on your terms. This evening, join your fellow travelers for an oceanside dinner in your luxurious resort.
Day 8
Onwards to Lihue, Kauai
Enjoy a leisurely start to your day before heading to the airport for your short flight to the natural wonderland of Kauai. Set your watch to island time and get settled in at your beachfront hotel.
Day 9
Uncover the Wonder of Waimea Canyon State Park
First stop today is Grove Farm, a beautifully preserved one-hundred-acre homestead in the center of Lihue that includes many of the original buildings and homes. Then, drive through the island's famous Tunnel of Trees and continue to Waimea Canyon State Park, one of the Hawaiian Islands most awe-inspiring sites. Dubbed the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” you will drive all the way up the canyon. The result of thousands of years of erosion, the canyon walls offer a canvas of brilliant shades of red, brown, green, blue, grey and purple, with shadows and light producing a never-ending show. Later we make a stop at Spouting Horn blow-hole, one of the most photographed spots in Kauai.
Day 10
Find Your Island Adventure
Enjoy a free day discovering Kauai and its many natural wonders and immerse yourself in the laidback lifestyle of the locals. Our island hop through Hawaii almost at its end, we join our Travel Director and travel companions for a Farewell Dinner.
Day 11
A Fond Farewell
For now it’s a fond a hui hou... until we meet again. Make your way to Lihue Airport or consider extending your stay on Kauai.

  • Kauai: Grove Farm is a beautifully preserved one hundred acre homestead in the center of Lihue that includes the original buildings dating back to the 1870's. The still active household, farm, gardens, banana patches and pastures, maintain the same practices that were established during that era.
  • Pearl Harbour: Visit Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial as well as the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific for a moving and unforgettable experience.
  • Honolulu: View the historically significant Iolanai Palace, the only royal palace in the United States.
  • Pearl Harbour: Enjoy a scenic drive through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, located in Punchbowl Crater.
  • Hawaii Volcanoes National Park: Enjoy a visit to the UNESCO listed Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and learn about the geology of the Islands.
  • Keauhou: Take a stroll along the coast to Punalu’u Beach Park, which is famous for its black sand and green sea turtles.
  • Kona: Kona coffee is one of the most expensive coffees on the planet. Currently, there are only about 3,000 acres of Kona coffee plants to supply the entire world, making it a very in-demand commodity. Visit the Kona Joe Coffee Farm and learn about this exclusive beverage and the work it takes to produce, all while tasting the coffee and taking in some of the most scenic views in Hawaii.
  • Keauhou: Enjoy learning about the giant manta rays that come to the Kona shores at the Manta Ray Learning Center with a Local Specialist.
  • Kaanapali: Enjoy a visit into old town Lahaina where you can dine at one of the many restaurants.
  • Waimea State Park: Enjoy a visit to Waimea Canyon State Park, one of the Hawaiian Islands most awe-inspiring sites. Dubbed the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” you will drive all the way up the canyon and bask in its captivating sights.
  • Kauai: Discover Spouting Horn blowhole, one of the most photographed spots on Kauai.
  • Kona: You will have the choice of visiting a deep Ocean Salt farm to learn about the importance of salt in Hawaiian culture and its production from the deep ocean or visiting the Kanaloa Octopus Farm where researchers are exploring new techniques for aquaculture and sustainable farming.
